I am new to this forum but have searched and havent found similar symtoms my car is having. I have purchased a 89 GXL 3 days ago and it is my first RX-7. Today at idle it idled real rough shook the car alot and it didnt idle smooth at all. (it hasnt really idled well at all, it goes up and down rapidly and will get to a point at idle where it feels like it is shaking the car). The temp gauge started going up so I pulled into a parking lot and shut it off to let it cool down a bit. After about 10 minutes of letting it sit I started it back up and it didn't do anymore. I checked it again tonight and I noticed the eletric fan that was installed didnt turn on once in a ten minute time frame sitting there. As well I dont know if this has any bearing on the problem but my bottom line to my oil cooler line is leaking(getting replaced thursday). Any help would be appreiciated.
