Stalling

Need help soon. I have an 86 GXL and was out yesterday. I stopped on a hill to pull out onto the highway, and the car stalled. I had to give it gas to get it started finally after 5 minutes. It stalled out once before while sitting on my sloped driveway. It idles fine when level, but if the front of the car is higher than the back, it stalls most of the time. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

I still had 3/4 of a tank. I only went 28 miles from when I filled it last.
