Are they crimped or do they use AN fittings?

Crimped = Hell no. Corksport sells them for $130, but they're a bitch to install.

Use your old fittings and get a hydraulic shop to make you some new ones.

AN = Yes, since they retail at $200+

You can also adjust the hoses a bit so they should be easier to install.

$100 is a reasonable price. a really good price if they have all AN fittings

I wouldn't call the corksport ones a bitch to install, a little annoying at best. I've run them for 3 years now.

Thx for the feedback fellas. Not sure if what 's being sold to me includes the AN fittings, but I checked with my tech and he's gonna install the Racing Beat SS which costs about $180 brand new.

Figured Id move forward with that and what the heck...spend an additional $80.

Because they're a BITCH to install.

It should have been an hour job but it took me upwards of 4 hours to do it because the teflon lines are too stiff, and if the alignment of the fittings is off EVERY so slightly, they won't go on correctly (your bolt won't thread).

AN stands for army/navy. it was the standard fastener size system used by the army and navy on fluidic systems during WWII (IIRC). Its the best of the best in hose fittings. Earls exists because they sold AN to the public at a time when aeroquip wouldn't. Basically its those red and blue aluminum hose ends you see on things that go really fast and are expected to be reliable.
