Question Squeeky

My '90 NA is making a squeeking noise. It sounds like a belt, but I just had the belts replaced about a month ago. It does it when I start it up, and keeps doing it until it's run for about 5-10 minutes, and dies off. Does anybody have any ideas as to what it may be? Or what I should look into?

Thanks in advance!

It is probably one of the belts. They do stretch - even new ones!

You need to get out there and check how loose the belts are. All of them can be tightened, so just make sure that they are to the proper tension.

Does it get worse when you turn the steering wheel? If so - it's probably the power steering belt.

If after all that it still makes noise, buy a can of "belt dressing" and apply liberally to the belts.

Alright, my 10Ae does this, but only when it's cold. Any ideas?

Try some belt dressing. See if it clears up. Troubleshooting is all about the process of elimination.
