squealing

hey guys, my car just started idling funny this morning. Revs up for about twenty -25 seconds like its supposed to then drops down to about 725-750rpm. If I turn on the air the car drops rpm and sometimes shuts off. I notice this more when the car has been driven for a while and is up to operating temp. Also, in 1st gear between 3500 and 6000 rpm there is a sqealing noise...anyone have any ideas about either of these things?

Almost gauranteed to be a loose or glazed/worn belt...
If you car is shutting off because of the A/C going on, that is common... check your alternator belt, but most likely, your BAC (bypass air valve) needs to be cleaned.

Since you just got your car, maybe a minor tuneup- new plugs, TPS adjustment, idle sped, and CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS should be in order.
