Splash guards-black with RX-7 lettering
Anybody know if these were dealer accessories?
Have a pair on the back of my '88 vert that I just removed. They are kind of foam rubber, couple of clips, one bolt and black glue held them on.
Wondering if I should bother saving them or if they were just auto part store add on's.

Just wondering if mine were genuine Mazda or just a auto part one that said RX-7. I took them off because they were drying out, found a little rust starting where one clip was. Only bolt was inside the wheelwell.

Sounds like factory flaps. When I purchased my '88 TII new I had them installed by the dealer. They were thick and held on by adhesive. I think they cost me @ $400 installed, but not certain. It's been a long while ago.
Remember the factory flaps will not fit on the S5 TII because of the side extensions. When I bought mine new S5TII) in May '89 I tried, but the fronts won't work. Rear ok.
