spilt air solenoid on fire!

we tried to start my boy's gxl and the split air solenoid lit on fire. we then noticed the other solenoid wasnt plugged in. any tips or advice that may have caused this. the only thing done before that was unflooding procedure.

I'd suggest the hot wire (B/W) was shorted to gnd or the other wire and cause this problem. People twist those solenoids wires til they show bare wire. Not good.

Plug the Port Air solenoid back in. Hurts nothing to do so.

I had an engine fire years ago which I think the split and port air solenoid valves were the root of. Luckly I caught it in time and it only damaged the ACV and the pressure sensor hose. Could have been way worse
