Spark Plugs

Okay guys... When I first changed the plugs in my car, they were all "trailing" plugs, in all four plug holes. The car ran perfectly like that. What would you have expected? Would someone do that on purpose? Which is the hotter plug?

Mine was like that too. It does no harm I ran my car for 9k miles on them and nothing went wrong. I now have the Leading and Trailing but I notice no difference whatsoever.

not un-heard of.

I thought the trailing plug was a cooler running plug.

I covered this issue this weekend with my friend, I run all leading Plugs in my car the only diffrence between the two (leading and trailing) is the amount of tempature it can withstand, The best plugs in my oponion on the market can be easily found at NAPA autoparts
They are The NGK Platnium plugs with a life expectancy 60,000+ the sku or model number is something like nur9EQP P-signifying the Platnium aspect, the only cost difference between the non-p and the p is like 1.83 cents a plug. 1.83 cents isnt that much of an increase so i would suggest the Platniums. The total cost comes to like 38.64 for 4 of them that is with 6% nc sales tax, if i remeber correctly
I hope this helped you out

1.83 cents? How do you calculate that? Do you convert to yen, then to Euro, then back to dollars?

Many people run trailing plugs to all four. The leading is hotter.

Most FC's will run fine with all 9's.&nbsp In fact, I recommend all FC turbos to run all 9's.&nbsp The 9's (in the leading holes) will last a little longer than the 7's.

Dude you got ripped...

Napa Auto parts chain here in California has the NGK plugs for usually less than $5 each... not almost $10 each.
Sure you weren't buying the NGK Irdium plugs... those are usually around $10 each.
