Spark Plug wires
Spark Plug wires
Hey guys, I am looking to replace my 1.5 year old spark plug wires (60000 miles). I currently have NGK stock on there now. I am looking for something to replace it on my daily driver. What do you guys recommand, Racing Beat wires or Nology or stock? My car will be used as a street car. I have heard people can pick up a few hp with wires. What do you guys recommand?
I've heard from somebody on here that the MSD wires were really good. He had tested several different brands before he came to this conclusion.
My stock NGK's are about worn out so I was going to order a new set. They're so bad that the trailing wire on the front rotor isn't firing because the wire isn't getting a good bite on the plug.
Run a search on google for the MSD's, you should be able to get some for about $50.

the wires that Mazda Competition sell are Taylor wires. these are readily available at most V8 hot rod shops or places like summit racing a V8 kit will cost less than the Magnecor wires and you are really getting 2 sets. I think the Mazda comp set is $35 or $40 ready to go. these are very good wires and rival the pricey Magnecor and Racing Beat wires. remember no solid core wires.
