spark plug in a hose??
Just bought a 90 rx7 turbo, and noticed a small hose plugged up with a spark plug. It looks like it went into the intake before something was removed,(looked to be missing about a foot worth of hose before it would connect to the intake) and the hole in the intake is plugged too. A freind said it looked like the blow off return, so I pulled the plug out so it wouldnt wreck the turbo. Is this right? and what went there originally?

It comes from the AVC. This is to keep exhaust gasses from coming back into the engine area when the air pump is removed. I would bet $10 on it. That is how I did it, and have heard/seen several done that way. Pics?

It is a big pump on the passenger side of the engine. Does it have the stock air box? The pump will be on the belt system. If the pump is there, then it is blocking the inlet tube for the ACV. If it is there, I have no clue what it is. Pics would REALLY help!!
