Exclamation brake caliper problem

I've recently bought a 87 GXL my first RX-7 and while I was in the process of bleeding the brake lines I ran into a large problem. Some previous owner of the car must have removed the stock bleeder valve on the passenger side front caliper which has two excellent qualities that the stock ones don't

A) it is not treaded at all, it wasn't stipped it was just round.
B) it managed to rust completely forming an unbreakable bond with the caliper.

I have a new bleeder valve ready if I can only manage to get old one out. I've started to remove the offending caliper but I dont have the right size flare nut wrench to take off brake line (by the way: what size do I need to take off the brake line?)Basically, I'm seeking the colletive wisdon that is this forum.

Brake line is 10mm flare.

Are you going to drill, retap and helicoil the hole for the bleeder? Be very careful you don't go down too far and hit the seat of the bleeder, otherwise you're screwed, it won't matter, you'll have to replace the caliper.

It might just be easier to replace the caliper, amazingly enough front 4 pistons aren't that expensive (got mine for 70+core)

Do you mean the head of the bleeder has been rounded off so you can't put a wrench on it? If so, try vice grips. If the head is not rounded off and you can get a wrench on it - you don't need a flare nut wrench, a box wrench will do - try some penetrating oil and let it soak in overnight.

I had to replace a 1 yr old Brake Caliper due to my "forgetting" to put anti-seize compound! When I attempted to bled the caliper, the f%(@$% screw just broke off. It was beyond threading It out!

Due yourself a favour, please put anti-seize compound so you can avoid a $120 mistake.
