spark plug help for TII

okay im having some trouble replacing my plugs in my TII. i have this fuel regulator in the way thats robbing me of some leverage. would it be okay if i unbolted the regulator and moved it aside? the fuel hose going to the regulator is a braided steel.

also which size socket should i use to remove the plugs?

As long as you're not straining the hose too much, it shouldn't be a problem to move it out of the way.

The socket is a standard spark plug socket size. 11/16" comes to mind, but don't quote me on that.

I dont know where you came up with 11/16th at but spark plugs are ither 5/8th or 13/16th depending on the plug.

FC3S Drift can you get a pic? There is nuthing stock or anything aftermarket installed properly that should be in the way to not allow you to change plugs or wires they are very easy and come out with little effort. The little round brass thing with a clip on th end is the Oil Presure sending unit.

The fule regulator or FPR is on the fule rail. Aftermarket FPR should not be down buy the plugs. The fule filter is down there but lower and not in the way.

And unless you have an aftermarket fuel regulator, there shouldnt be any fuel regulator in the vicinity of the plugs..

If you want some more leverage or if your arms are large. All I do is put the car on ramps or jack stands, take off the skid plate and remove the plugs from underneath; plenty more room this way.

You can remove your PS and AC, you'll have weight savings and can change your plugs in a few minutes
