increased Power. Not really. But better spark on the leading and a couple Miles per gallon per tank( say 20 miles per tank,it pays after a year.)
I put the MSD 6A on the leading,3 years ago.still running it
I run NGK BUR7EQP and 9 EQP.they are the Platinum version.I never had any problems with them.IF your Car is Stock and running OK,then just the regular NGK's are fine, with the MSD.
Why you would want to go Colder is beyond me.
I hope that helps ya.I just wanna save ya from Spending money you could have and Put towards something useful,Like Coilovers.Short Shifter, or a Hooker named Bambi!(..wah..Bambi!..HOT!)

it seems like you want to make more power by going to colder plugs on an NA, you are just going to end up fouling them quicker.....

Regardless, the stock bur7 and 9 are the coldest you should go. I actually use the hotter BUR6 and BUR8 for my s5 n/a......

But if you really want to do it, I believe mazdatrix sells the 10's range

Just spend the few extra $ on the platinums if you need new plugs. Colder in a stock ported n/a is a waste of $$$

Thumbs up

oh yea, my bad, i advance the timing on it thats why, and i thought you have to go to colder range sparks plug to get more power, and currently i run the platinum tips, i get better response, i have an S5 N/A rebuilt(about 30K miles)intake, sleeved ports, advanced timing, deleted emissions, pacesetter headers, gutted cat, and custom 2 1/2inch piping to rotted out mufflers lol, flames all day,

It's the advanced timing that would make a little more power, not the heat range of the plugs. You change heat range colder to avoid overheating the plugs, which could lead to detonation and engine damage. Also, how did you advance the timing? Rotating the CAS is not a great way to do it. You should be using some sort of engine management.

just run the stock plugs with the stock heat range. They are fine on n/a cars. N/a cars don't really detonate.
