Sparco Seat Install (Pics)

Just thought Id share a couple pics of my sparco torino install. Overall Im very pleased with the quality and comfort of the seat but the seat bracket is a different story. The sliders are sparco but the actual seat base is made by wedge engineering and it was a royal pain in the *** to bolt up. I didnt realize this until later but the majority of brackets from sparco were made by wedge engineering. Anywho...here are a few pics.

i have the wedge brackets too, they are FC specific, i'm using a recaro though, it was weird because i have 2 recaros, an SPG and SRD...SPG is the bucket which i previously used for driver in my last car, it wouldn't bolt up right in the FC but the SRD did, the mounts are in the same position, didn't make sense...SRD is the reclining seat, so i'm using that now as my driver, i'm sure wedge has a specific mount for the SPG though, i just didn't bother cause i'm too fat for it now!

Were you using the sliders when you bolted your SRD to the wedge brackets or did you just bolt it strait to the seat base without using the slider?

Is the top of the seat hitting the ceiling?

Asking because I'm tall and looking for a new seat. I know Torinos are real nice, but they like they sit pretty high.

No they dont hit the top. You have about 4-5 inches of clearance.

i used the slider of course, wedge sells those also, in fact when i bought the brackets for my eclipse i went through a shop called Autolink, and they got em from Wedge...when i got the FC mount/slider i went directly to Wedge and saved a buttload of money, damn Autolink!!!

I put some solid race seats in mine, just adapted the seats to the factory rails, but not so keen on them anymore as the top of the seat is about 50mm (2 inch) from the roof, and when you look at the car from the front all you see in the windscreen is a **** load of seats.
