Spacer Kits?

I recently purchased a LS flywheel and a stage III clutch and proper counterweight. The flywheel did not come with spacers and the appropriate bolts. I need to find out were I can pick up a spacer kit to mount the pressure plate to the lightsteel flywheel. The make of the flywheel is unkown, but I don't know if that will matter or not.

Btw I already checked Racing Beat and Mazdatrix and I tried searching ACT.

Thanks guys.

I have a RB lightweight steel flywheel and don't have a spacer kit. RONBROS3 runs a fidanza and i didn't see a spacer anything on his either.

never seen or heard of "spacers" for the clutch setup.

well then your LS flywheels must of had built onto the flywheel. Just like the stock flywheel had them built on.

No flywheel that I know of runs a "spacer".
It sounds like you're confusing "spacer" with counterweight?
Please check the terminology, as you're only confusing everyone else...

the racing beat NA flywheel has little aluminum spacers between the fw and pressure plate. the stock flywheel has raised spots for the bolts to go into, the aftermarket one does not. its surface is flat all the way around the edge (for those people wondering wtf he is talking about ). i believe the SR Motorsports flywheels are the same way. do you have pictures of the flywheel? maye we can help you figure out what brand you've got.

i haven't seen any sites list them, but whoever made it might be willing to help you out and sell you a hardware set for it.

THANK YOU! Everyone thinks I am nuts. If you guys still think I am nuts you can give rx7doctor a pm and ask him about it, because he personally looked at my flywheel and recalled his too needed spacers. I also thought I pretty much specified what I needed in my first post "I need to find out were I can pick up a spacer kit to mount the pressure plate to the lightsteel flywheel." I don't understand how possibly I could get confused that with a counterweight seeing how that bolts to the back of the flywheel....

But thank you bingoboy. My flywheel is currently at a friends in his garage, I will try to get a hold of him asap so he can snap some pictures and send them to me so I can post them up for you guys to help determine the make.

Lightbulb Spacers

No he is not nuts. The rb and other lightened steel flywheels require aluminum spacers between the flywheel and pressure plate because the flywheel is a flat surface unlike the stock which is a stepped one. It's the only way to compensate for the gap between the flywheel and the pressure plate. By the way guys the Rb/mazdatrix flywheel is made by midway/centerforce clutch to their specs.
Oh i should not say he's not nuts, he's alittle nuts. But thats only because he's hanging with me too much.

What a piece of ****!

I know the stock flywheel has those "pedestals", so these bitch *** aftermarket manufacturers can't machine it like the stock one??? :P

Wow, they gotta go cheap and getto-rig it with spacers!

exactly my thoughts. My poor car is sitting in a garage on jack stands with all her undersides scattered around, and I can't do a damn thing until I find some of these damn spacers.

My call to racing beat earlier.

Me: "Yes, I was wondering if you sold spacer kits seperatly to mount the pressure plate to a light steel flywheel."

RB: "for steel, no"

Me: "you are sure you don't sell spacer kits for lightened steel flywheels?"

RB: "yes."

Me: "oh ok... thanks... "

THANKS ALOT RACING BEAT!!!

The reason why I re-asked him is because someone on the forum told me he had bought a spacer kit from racing beat. So now I am kind of
