Ok, this sucker is ticking me off... I've got the ABS out, found an inverted flare M10 x 1.0 coupler to connect the rear lines without the ABS there, but I can't find an inverted flare M10 x 1.0 3-way female tee. I can find the 3/16" ones fine, but can't find the M10 x 1.0 Tees anywhere (I even called Metrics shops, all kinds of places, auto parts stores, performance shops, whatever...)

Anyway, the Dealer has the one for the rear, but it's like freaking $20 for that little piece of crap, and I'm not about to ORDER a part so I can pay $20 for a part that should cost me freaking $2.50, because I'm pretty sure I'm going to be doing this in the future again, and don't want to deal with this crap again.

So, do you have any clues as to where I can find the sucker? Or if you've ordered them before too, let me know. I'm NOT going to cut and re-flare the lines, don't want to screw with that.

 

Get the kit from Mazdatrix, it may have everything you need so that you don't have to mess around with the flaring tools. Its under the brake parts section and its like 37 bucks.

However, I'm pretty sure you are going to HAVE to cut and reflare the lines if you do it yourself.

Its not that big a deal. I did it and it was friggin easy and cost about 7 bucks. (i already had the flaring tool though, but you can "borrow" the tools from autozone and advance)

 

Check the parts for sale forum for someone parting a car.

I cut & flaired the lines myself, but it was not easy.
I did use a 3/16 Tee.
Making a good double flair with a parts store tool is tricky, but it can be done.
Just practice on some scrap line first.

 

I've done the double-flare before, it's not too hard, just a pain in the **** and I just returned the double-flaring tool because I saw all the lines could be connected with just a tee, and a coupler for the rear.

I'm pretty sure Mazdatrix does have the parts in its kit, but again, the 37 bucks thing.

 

i just went up to o'rielly's and got 3 male fittings and a female T.they are a standard thread.i just used some fittings off of the ABS pump to connect to the factory stuff and then i used the orielly stuff just for the T that connects the 2 front brakes.

 

you found a metric female T?

 

ok... go to your mazda dealer and ask them to get you the break T for the rear brake lines.
it will cost you like $9.00.

I might just end up having to do that, but I think one of them might be a 3-way male fitting I dunno

There's a junkyard around here that has TONS of FC's, but they don't sell any brake related products except maybe calipers and rotors
