i just installed my bonez intake and i barely hear the intake. should i remaove the air pump and if so how would i do it

 

Not unless you want to bolt it and your cats back on every two years for smog inspection.

Just removing the air pump will kill the cats, which will then polute the air... doesn't San Jose already have a problem with smog? Isn't it the worst spot in the bay area???

if you want it to sound louder you need it to suck more air. which means you need ehaust and other mods to raise power....

or you can stop being a rice boy and not care what it sounds like...

 

hey CA smog isn't as bad as a few other places... for example there are countys in Nevada and New York and a couple of other places that have annual smog testing. At least California only has inspection every two years.

 

what do you expect to hear? It's just a filter.

umm Tejas is fixen to pick up the same restrictions in the nest coupla years....also if this crappy bill passes we will be limiited to 65 dB, thats like less then a freakin lawn mower!!!
