sorry, one more quick question about S4-S5 swap
I've had a couple questions in the past about this swap, and now that I've got my motor and am about ready to put it in, I've just got one more question. BTW, I'm putting a S5 motor in my S4 TII
for some reason I was thinking the clutch needed to be that of the transmission... so I'd need to put a S4 clutch on my S5 motor. but it appears that the alignment tools differ only for turbo and NA, not for S4 and S5(which would mean the input shaft is the same). also, I was looking at kevin landers' writeup on his site, and it doesn't say anything about the clutch, just that the flywheel needs to match the engine.
so, in short question form:
do I need to put a S4 clutch on my S5 motor for it to work properly?
thanks

EDIT:
A friend of mine had a S4 Flywheel and S5 clutch assembly and the flywheel and pressure plate didn't quite mate together properly. The S4 and S5 flywheels are the same diameter as long as they are both N/A.
You need the correct flywheel/counterweight for the engine that you are using. I'd go with a clutch for the same year engine, just to be safe.
