Is this somthing to be worried about?

Here's the thing,

I was driving with my music blasting when all the sudden my radio/wipers/headlight etc. anything electrical related just died on me. I saw my volt meter dropping so i pulled over then my car died. I figured that my amp was draining my battery faster than the alternator could charge it, so i disconnected it. Everything was dead so I had to get boosted. Once I got boosted everything worked fine, but then my tach bounces up and down from 1,500 rpm to 2,300 rpm non-stop for hours. Should I disconnect and reconnect my battery so my computer resests? Also should I get a new battery?, cause it seems to be leaking acid.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks guys.

Yeah running large amps without capacitors is a really bad idea cuz they KILL alternators and batterys. Sounds to me like you need a new alternator, but i would just get it diagnosed as well as the battey,
And dude dont run that amp anymore unless you get a bigger alternator or get a good cap.

Getting the cap is the better idea.
