some input on MSD DIS ignitions
Well i know that the DIS 2 channel will work for the leading side but will hte DIS 4channel work for everything? it says it can handle 3-4 coil packs, and our cars have 3 so could it happen? If not why? anyone have any experience with this ignition? thanks

a MSD DIS2 would be for the trailing coils (if you wanted to waste the money).
On the leading coil it would even be more of a waste since you would only be able to use half of the DIS2.
I suppose you could use a DIS 4 for all three coils, but IMO any sort of amp for the trailing coils is a waste on time and money and will not produce any additional HP or gas mileage.

Who told you the DIS-2 would work for the leading?
Try and search under my nick and DIS2 or DIS-2 - I have refuted almost every single thread asking if it'll work on the leading.
As for the DIS-4 controlling all 3 channels - NO.
We tried it on an FD, and it doesn't work.
The DIS-4 is a multiplexer box, and it needs to see (up to) 4 sequential, evenly spaced ignition input signals to work correctly.
Since the FC (and FD) ignition signals are not like this, the DIS-4 barfs.
