some help.. please?

hey everyone, im fairly new to the board (first post) but ive been reading for the past few weeks. im planning on getting a S5 2nd gen rx7. but, like every newbie, i have a few questions.

i need to know specifics on trims, from what i know gtu is base along with a more baser base (lol) while the GXL is under the GTUs in na trims. then the TII. the thing is, im not sure how hard it would be to find a GTUs, or just find a TII.

If i went NA, should i just drop in a turbo kit from wherever the hell i buy it, like an HKS turbo kit, or should i drop in the 13bt? (NA engines are 13b while TII are 13BT correct?) what would you guys recommend?

Also, whats so special about the 4 lug or 5 lug wheels? OH, i also know that GXL and GTUs and TII come 5 lug while base and GTU are 4 lug... hmm. besides from looking at lugs, how else can you tell trims apart? any physical characteristics?

but the most important question is.. what do you guys think i should do? find a GTUs? or a GXL? or just look for a TII (in all honesty, i really want boost so either im going to have a turbo) i will end up putting a turbo sooner or later.

thanks for any help. its all appreciated. ill jst keep asking questions on my thread so other people who have my questions can also read -=0

There are numerous threads on na -> TII conversions. Economically, you're better off just buying a TII outright. There is no such thing as a Turbo Kit for Rx-7's.

Cheaper to buy TII unless:
You have lots of time and space on your hands
and
you want a mechanical challange
read the sticky at the top of the page.
