Some Grinding in second gear?

Hey all!

Ok i was flooring it from first, then shifted to second at about 6000rpm, then when I was getting closer to redlining in second i heard a strange "grinding" noise and I know it sounds weird but it's like I felt it on the accelerator on my feet. But the noise was coming from the engine. I pulled over and everything seemed fine. And I tried to get that grinding noise again but it didn't grind.

Any ideas what that might have been? maybe the throttle cable or something? thanks!

You might have just found the resonant frequency for your secong gear/ engine combination (That wouldn't exactly be a grinding noise, but the fact you can't get a repeat performance is good- that means you might not have broken anything!)
