soft top repair idea?

I didn't fold it under I just lined it up and put holes in the sheet and put the bolts through it! it's just temporary and looks better than duct tape

$20 and 3hrs of my time. I'll take it! Definitely better than duct tape and 6" holes in the top. Top will be down 99% of the time, but just in case


Laying it out and smoothing to see where the wrinkles will land.

That looks pretty good. I wonder if one used a heat gun a little bit that it could be smoother.

If there were some top material left on the driver side I'm sure it could have been LOL.

You can see the hole peeking out under the duct tape!
