i am rebuilding my 91 rx n/a and when i have the parts cleaned by a maching shop do i have to worry about the soft material coating the service manaul talks about on the side surfaces. becuase this engine died from a rear freeze plug popping out and coolant leaking into the exhaust side of the rotor housing so i need the parts cleaned better then what i can. thanks for any information
