so rare!

1 big reason why i love rx's(all gens!) is because they are so rare!i went

to florida for a week.i went down with my friends in an avalon,it took us

about 18 hours.but anyway this kid i went down with was so annoying,

he thought he knew everything about cars, and he had no respect for

rex's.so we got to florida and he was pointing out every car we saw!(so

annoyng).so we saw vipers, corvettes,cl 55 amg, hummers, and some

other crap.this kid knew every benz model and bentley style and

whatever, i tryed to explain why rex's are so hot but i couldnt get it

passed his thick head.

but anyway the whole way down and back up from nyc i didnt not see

one rex,of any gen.but when i got there i did see an fc conv.so i

explained how hot they are because of how rare they are,but he

wouldnt crack.well f*ck him anyway,hes a herb and doesnt know ****,

he could stick his toyota avalon up his ***!the worst part is that i never

wanted to see him again but i left my cds in his car which sux.

i just wanted to state that i covered like 3500 miles in like 5 days and i

only saw 1 rex,i was kinda sad but happy at the same time.i just love

the fact about how rare they are, makes me feel special!

Man, if you went to FL and didn't see any 7's, you must have gone either at the wrong time of day, or to the wrong town. Between Florida and CA, I bet they have about 20% of the 7's in the States.

No offense, man, but they're not THAT rare. I mean, ok AE's are rare, 91 TII's are rare, 89 GTUs's are rare, and 90 GTUs's are almost non-existant. That's about it. You should have been able to see any other Rex just about anywhere.

P.S. I hope your reason for not wanting to see him again wasn't because he didn't like 7's...

Hehehe, I know my 89 GTUs is rare, and I got it off the idiot for like 2000 dollars. I love the damn thing and YES if you come up to Maine they are extremelly rare. Probably, due to the corrosive road scene in the winter and the point that we have winter for a long time. I am on of the only ones in Maine to have an FC and the rest are 1st gens (never seen any third gens). If you are ever in Maine give me a hollar I live right next to NH border.

All those cars you list seeing are more rare than RX-7s. (with the exception of maybe the 'vette)

They really aren't that rare I mean look at the forum, there's 8000+ members, and it's odd because almost every time I chase someone with a 7 down, they haven't heard of the forum. I've been in Florida visiting my parents for about 8 days now, and I've only seen 2 different RX-7s. I really thought I would see more here.

only rare RX-7s are the GTUs' and 95 R2s

oh yeah ALL RX-7s are still on the road and not in junkyards unless they were destroyed beyond fixing.

However, a lot of them are prone to fires because they leak around the fuel pulsator dapenor or what not. Also, many 7s go to the yard because they have little to know sheilding in them. When a 7 gets a little salt on it you wana get it off quick because to help compensate weight they took away many overleighs of panelings. Well this is only information I have obtained, none in which I take heart in believing. I still have mine and if I don't get it running it is going to sit in my holding bin untill I can get it running. These are the best cars out there right now and mine is 13 years old. Not much can beat that ****!!!!!

Only the 86-88s have problems with the fuel pulsation damper, and maybe the 84 GSL-SE.

and how many have 7's? :-D
But anyways, I see a 1st or 2nd gen maybe twice a week. I've seen two FDs on the street not at a show or at SevenSpeed.
They're just not very common in these parts at least. (suburbs of pittsburgh)

you have to take location and time of year into consideration...#1 i've known of RX-7's since i was like 9 years old and have seen a total of 3 1st gens 4 second gens and 1 3rd gen. In miami, you will see them GALORE! bigger cities, better taste in some cases. I dont doubt what he said because in normal towns people dont have them and in rich places people can afford more expensive cars...PS i used to live in FL so i know what hes sayin lol.
PS i used to hate it when people thought my conquest was a dammed dodge daytona...ahhhhhhhh

hah turbofast, this kid i know has a Mitsubishi Starion. has 800 horse power, needs to get a wing for his car its to fast. Funny thing is, he bought it with 300 hp and some how by porting the stock turbo and putting an intake on, he gained 500hp. OHH thats right he's doesn't have that much hp JEFF STOP LYING, not you turbofast. His car is being fixed more than its driven. the guy he bought it from told him it had 300 hp. and That guy also had a completely decked out CRX had everythgin you could possibly bolt on. the HP on that was 120hp. funny i thought those things came with 130 stock?oh well
