you can run 89 octane and be fine if your car is stock. that will save you a couple bucks at the pump

A few years back 93 cost 20% more than 87.
Now it's only 7% more for 93.

Like rx7b13 said if it's totally stock it will handle 87.
The minute you start power mods, your going to 93.

Yep, congrats. Just read all the faqs at the top. Also, replace all the fluids, check all your hoses and replace any that are questionable.

Cool. this is one of the good sites for rx-7s full of info.
Matter of fact, if you get a problem or question, most likely it's been covered here.

There are threads in here about reliability.
I have no complaints on my car, starts right up and got lots of mileage! haha . Daily Driver.

It depends on how you maintain, drive and mess with it.
when you start messing with it, expect that something might get "messed" up.

There are also threads concerning Fuel Octane.
Many have said 87 is fine.
I use 87octane for years now, but then I don't have a massive A.M. turbo or running high PSI. (around 500 mmHG)

Have FUNNNNNNN. it's such a fun and great car. YOu can stare at it. sleep with it. lick it , whatever dud, .. something you can't do with other cars... say hmm Honda?

you dont need additives unless you too lazy to remove you fruel injectors and stuff like that. i find it more fun by taking stuff apart and doing it the hard way... doing that is also how you learn more about your car.
