So... my crank angle went bad...

Ehhhhhh?
I was driving home last night at 11:30pm, just normal driving... not in boost, shifting at 3 grand and all of a sudden my car just turns off. So i pull over and put on my hazards. Get my car pushed to the gas station thats up the road. Checked all the fuses, hoses, ect ect... and finally the spark plugs. I was getting NO FIRE at all. NOTHING. So, my boyfriend and i tow it to his house where it sat all day until my good friend got off work and brought me a new crank angle. First we did the wire jiggle test, tried to start it... and nothing.. then we unplugged the old crank angle and grounded the new one and plugged it in and there was spark. Swapped them out and now my car is good as new.

How ******* weird. I just wanna know how many other people this has happened too, and did your car just randomly turn off??

You do not ground the CAS to make it work.
