I am not sure why, but almost everywhere I go some asks about my FC. 5 people aproached me yesterday about, and 2 more today. Kind of odd I though. I've got a white FC with S5 appearance.

More people talk to me about this car than when I drive my FD around. That struck me as odd, being I live in the land of SUVs and trucks . I guess the FC must look quite good still, holding up against modern designs.

 

yea people always roll there windows down at stoplights saying nice car, or people stare at my car like they never seen a 2 door car before

But wait, it is a rx-7!

 

LOL yeah, people must think it's a Ferrari or something. When I went to go pick up my little brother at middle skool once some kid came up and asked me to do a burnout right there in the parking lot.

Then again, I think my Bonez Straight-pipe and HKS cat-back makes people think my S5 N/A is faster than it really is...

Some muscle car guys I am aquaintances with at skool thought I had a V8 in there just because of the sound. They seemed very dissapointed when I told them it was a 1.3L, lol.

 

the FC is a damn sexy car, the FD was ahead of it's time and just now matches cars of it's era for appearance so it doesn't stand out like a slightly older car with sleek lines does..

ha, so that is the deal, the FD was ahead of it's time, so now cars are just begining to do what Mazda did so long ago.

Well, maybe after my Fd is rebuilt with a louder exhuast, it'll get equal attention to my FC.

 

My FC always got alot of attention too...I dunno what it is...it is a pretty car.....just wait till i paint mine yellow....he he

 

I get a lot of "Is that a miata?!" BS... damn yuppieville.

 

They're always staring at mine as well but I think its either the loud *** open exhaust, the smell of gas or the sound of a turbo whinding up and the bov dumping air as I shift. I don't think it has much to do with the looks even though maybe it does. My fiance doesn't like my car much she likes my old 98 prelude better

I have had similar experiances. Once I got my S5 TII back on the road, i've gotten people stopping me and asking me about it all the time. They're always very surprised its an RX7, much less a 1990.

no ur right.. my car looks like its been pelted with shotputs and people still treat it like its god.
my favorite, is when i pull up to asian people driving civics and their knuckles get all white and they start shaking...
not to be racist, but thats the only time i see people scared of my car.
