So I've been reading up...

and i saw someone mention that a S5 NA can be used on a s5 t2 engine.
Is this so?
And what necessary modifications need to be done in order for it to be used?

So I've been reading up...
Read some more...

Seriously, the question is rather odd to say the least. An S5 is a model and an NA and T2 are engine/car designations so... are you asking if you can turbocharge an NA engine or what? We're all a little confused.

Yes and no. I'm not 100% on this but from what I've read out and around they are interchangable in regards to the connectors as long as its s4 to s4 and s5 to s5, but you'll have to re-pin a couple connections so everything hooks up right.

Again not 100% but I'm sure reading up the fsm for wiring will clear it up easily enough.

Yes you can use the NA harness with a TII engine and ECU. There are two small wiring changes to make. Pin 2M (Y/B wire) is the knock sensor on Turbos and the VDI solenoid valve on NA's. Connect the knock sensor to the VDI solenoid valve connector. Pin 3R (L/W wire) is the boost control solenoid valve on Turbos and the 6PI solenoid valve on NA's. If you're keeping the factory electronic boost control you'll need to connect the boost control solenoid valve to the 6PI solenoid valve connector.
