So Im buying a JSPEC and need to port it

Im buying a jspec engine and I need to port it. Its "certified under 35,000 miles" as usual so I was just wondering if I can take it apart and port it without any extra gaskets or anything. What will I need to order to put it back together?

Buy a complete gasket kit. You can probaby reuse the seals on the rotors (apex, side) if they are in good shape. Though if you have the engine apart, now would be the time to replace them...

You need to do the following:

gasket kit(87-88 turbo runs around $275)
apex seals(2pc atkins runs $200 or so)
corner seal plugs $25/set of 12
oil thermo pellet replacement $15

hylomar and sealant from autozone, plus a good way to clean up the engine parts and possibly paint them(why not)?

the apex seals should be reusable, but i'd suggest getting new apex seal SRPINGS for added insurance.
