where did you find these?
D-speed makes them, click on d-speed on the left nav bar. pretty sure they're only for S5s, however the side markers both front and rear fit on S4s and S5s. corksport also carries those.

After installing the Zenki's back on my s4 when I sold it, for some reason I almost liked them more than the S5s.
I'd like to get a hold of a pair of these though

s4 tails are much better, s5 tails make the rear of the car look too tall.

I am sorry for the snapping at you, it was just such thick sarcasm it seemed impossible to me for you to be joking, sarcasm is hard to express in text. I figured you were kidding based on your post count, just couldn't be sure, my apologies friend

someone on the forum was selling them like 2 years ago. I don't even know if they are still around.

I just remembered what I don't like about the lights is that little square reflecter on the lights. The same reason I don't like fb lights, but if you take off their cover, they turn into circle lights.

Being over 30 myself, the picture above are some really cool looking taillights. I couldn't give a **** about the debate s4 vs s5 tails. but i like the taillights in the picture above. having made my own custom taillights for my 1st gen it shouldn't be hard to re-produce something like those. once the assembly is apart it's just a matter of the material for the lenes. the clear lowers looks like diamond cut fixture de-fusier with the smooth side facing 'out'. the upper looks like the stuff for stage lighting called 'gels' very transparent while still 'throwing' colour. very easy,,,,, very easy to do . in fact i think i'm going to make some taillights like those today for my turboII, should go good with the body kit...........

The only problem with those is that most states require a red reflector facing to the rear of the car... those lights do not have any reflector making them suitible only for use off of public highways and roads.

thats easy enough to do too. use some reflective tape. either the white, red or orange. cut very thin strips, maybe...... 3rd gens have reflectors in the bumpers i believe not on, or in the taillights. maybe something can be done like that. and not huge reflectors something small and placed well on the car so it looks okay
at the same time being legal.

It's no prob., I just forgot that it's hard to detect sarcasm in a typed message.

hopefully this will make everyone love the s4 tails and prices of them will go up and the s5 tails will go down to 30 bucks a pair Then I could afford them! *dangles a swinging watch* Common everyone s4's are cool! Don't buy the s5 tails because they are a fad like altezzas, give me your s5's in exchange for my s4's

I don't see why age should have anything to do with this. I'm over 30 and I much prefer the S5 lights simply because they look newer and far less 80's. Just coz I grew up in the 80's doesn't mean I want my car to loo as 80's as possible. Some people seem a bit obsessed with their resemblance to other cars' lights, but don't mention all of the Mazda rotaries that had four round taillights for many years.

**** i was at the junkyard today and guess how many 1991's there were...??? all with perfect taillights,,,,,,, three. there was even a 13bt in the bed of a truck there too.. not the yards truck, but a truck bed. no transmission and i didn't see the turboII car. i bet i can get those taillights for $ 40.00 dollors a set.. i needed to be able to lock my car so i went there to find a car with the key, and i did. took the door handles so now i have th use two keys, one to start the car and one to open it. handles are the same colour even.....yeah !!!
