snapped rear sway bar stud

So i have this little problem. I was putting on some Racing beat sway bars and as i was changing the rear one of the studs that hold on the bushing snapped.
Has this happened to anyone?
If so what did you do? Drill the piece out and weld a new stud on or can you pound it out and put a new one in?

I just answered my own thread. There is two bolts holding this plate on the frame which has the studs on in (press fit)

Hmm.and I thought it was held up by a bolt.

Shows how long I haven't been back at that section of the car!
