I managed to drop by LIM and snapped my front actuator rod/shaft. Broke in two at the C washer =( any suggestions on how to repair this? Thanks, also does anyone know the bolt size x thread for the LIM?

Are you talking about these? You can get them from Malloy Mazda (Ray Crowe) pretty cheap. There are two part numbers so I'm not sure of both or which one you need.

That part number shown is for a S5 90 NA but not sure if it was the forward or rear rod. It might be a different design / part number on S4s?

s4 is different, and the rods are different front to rear.

you also need the o rings, N225-13-188A

there is no way to realistically fix a broken rod, just replace it.

but S4 and S5 are different so i wouldn't bother trying to use the improper rod. the actuator rotation is flipped, hence so is the cam, the shape of the cam is also different.

partly for clarification, they aren't interchangable at all. you could do it but it requires modification and dremelling out the slot end of the shaft, modifying the cam stops and using the opposite side rod. i have done it before but it certainly wasn't ideal.
