Smoke after porting the wastegate
Hello all, I've been porting my wastegate on a S4 Turbo II. I remove everything, the turbo and all, and I thought that I would do this in two weekends. Long story short, I ended working on the car for more than a month (on weekends) for various reasons (cold weather, broken part that needed replacement, learning process, etc.)
After a lot of work, I've manage to put everything back together today, filled the coolant, added oil, and plugged back the battery. I was a bit in a hurry as I needed to leave for a meeting. I started the car, and it did not go so well... At all.
There was a lot of smoke exiting the exhaust, but (I think) that stopped after the car was half warmed up. Anyway my problem is that there is a lot of smoke in the turbo area. It is like oil or coolant is dripping on it. I don't know what I did wrong or if I did something wrong, or if it's my lucky day and it was just the cleaning-products-used-to-clean-everything that was smoking. Anyway I'd like some inputs on this, if it ever happened to anybody out here.
Everything was working before I disassembled the turbo and all.

So, sorry for posting without doing a proper troubleshooting. I realized that this is somewhat my lucky day, as it's the coolant inlet that is easily accessible on to of the turbo that is leaking at the gasket. Its only a drop per 30 seconds, but it makes a lot of smoke, so it was hard to see.
I also realized that I did not plug the ACV so the engine wasn't running well. Anyway now it's all good.
