Smog help!

Smog help!
so i just got back from the smog and failed...looks like my HC ppm is at a whopping 794 when the limit is like 85.. ahaha and my co is 1.39 when limit is like .5, i had just recently bought the car so as far as history i dont know much of. the previous owner smogged it and the papers read it passed with flying colors. so i dont know what all those failing numbers mean!. its a 10thAE and its bone stock except for some racing beat mufflers...HELP
