Smashed Radiator... still alright?

I was jacking up the car on the front cross member and went around to the side to place a jack stand underneath and right as i grab the jack stand the jack sliped and caught the koyo radiator. I have pics of it, it does not look that bad, it only crushed it up about 1/4-3/8 max.

I am not sure if I should still use it, well it has only seen about 30 minutes of use idling, which is the real kicker. I do not think anything is in that area, just empty space for coolant, but I am not positive. Anyone have an idea or know if it should be alright?

Here are some pics..

and the inventor of metal endtanks happily rest in his grave. unfortunetly for me, a blown out semi tire at 60mph in the fog, left the inventor of the stock plastic endtanks eternally burning in the firey pits of hell.

Ouch that hurts, but it should be fine still keep an eye out for any leaks and keep another eye on your temp gauge but I wouldnt be worried.

Ok thanks guys! I feel the same way. There is no holes or anything that is the main thing. I just hate to see dropping another $350 for a Rad....

If you want to sure, pressure test it, however it looks ok.

autozone rents a coolant system pressure tester or you can have a shop do it. it's pretty straight forward, if you can use a bicycle pump you can use the pressure tester. the system doesn't hold any more than 13psi (maybe it's 11psi, don't quite remember) and i doubt that would be enough to blow through the aluminum.

yeeep, what he said... basically as long as it doesn't leak, u should be fine, unless you've pinched off circulation in ur radiator, which it doesn't look like it has...
