Small issue.

Hey, sometimes when I drive my RX-7 a little hard, such as redlining and stuff, the brake light comes on, but it only comes on the first time I start driving hard and goes away after like 5 minutes. If drive hard again, it doesn't come on again.

The scary part is it sounds like you kept driving the car hard despite having a brake warning light come on. Since you don't seem to know what the warning is for, but must have realised it was brake-related, perhaps a little caution would've been smart.

The BRAKE warning light comes on if the hardbrake is on or the brake fluid is low. so if it isn't the handbrake...

The brake fluid seems to be fine, it's just a little under the max line, but it's fine.

just a stab in the dark but I recently put on new brakes in my rear with new rotors and loaded reman calipers from autozone. The remans, according to meineke, were defective and work nomally but stick when using the e-brake. they dissconnected my e-brake cable until i could replace the brake. Maybe you're having the same problem only it hasn't caused enough stickage to actually contact the rotors and bog your car down. rear disc brakes in sevens are pretty shotty and problematic until you go ultra high end aftermarket, imo and so I've been told by brake mechanics anyways. They said rear disc brake systems weren't refined until the middle to late 90's on middle class cars. Hope this info. helps.

P.S. - Ditto on the warning light warning. Idiot lights and other miscellaneous warnings are in place for a reason. They do screw up sometimes but, as they say, "It's better safe than sorry." Take car of your Seven and it will take care of you.

Check both the handbrake switch and the brake fluid level sender. See the FSM Body Electrical chapter for more info.
