Sleepers or show-offs?

Which do you guys like better, sleepers or obviously modded rx7's? I think personally I like a sleeper with just a hint what lies beneath. I plan on putting black 3g wheels on mine and lowering it on top of them, other than that and my tag, my car has nor will have any exterior mods. Just wondering what everyone else likes.

i like the Pimped look, i mean who cares what you have under the hood, unless your racing them. Or they respect cars, Do girls like "Sleepers"? no they like pimped cars. I dont use cars to get girls. But everybit helps man.

DC350, what exactly do you consider to be "pimp"? I'm not ******* you, I seriously want to know how you hook your cars up, that was the point of the post. And as for the chicks digging "pimped" rides, I can do without the kind of woman that digs chrome wheels!

I guess that was a bad thing to say, i like having the respect of others. OKay, pimped being. Blacked out windows. well your probably gunna hate me for this...but i love a nice lowered ride, with some sort of non stock rims. 17's with low pro's nice stereo. I love my music almost as much as i love my car. Nice wing from mazdatrix. nice colour....like mine (deep baby blue with extra metallic) Sun roof open. Nice front spoiler. umm, what else...now you get into the small details that are really expensive. rx7.com sleak backed mirrors. Temperature holes in the hood (not speed holes) special vents. umm that tops it off.. oh and a nice pair of xenon bulbs and fog lights

2 options in my mind...100% sleeper, keep it hiddin under the hood, only thing allowed to show is the rims and rubbers....other option is full on race car, interior = 100% bare metal and full roll cage. But flashy side skirts and bumpers just say 'I don't get enough attention at home'
And yeah, Chrome won't get you home.

My only exterior mods are gonna be rims, and an unpgrade to series 5 mouldings. Everything else is going under the hood

If I had to chose just one characteristic, I'd chose fast. I have always liked the idea of a sleeper. Since I don't have to chose, however, I think I'll stick with looks and speed.

I agree that the only people a sleeper is going to impress is the person your racing. How often is that? not too often. Im trying to max out my N/A so it WIl be decent fast but I also want bomex side skirts , Agressive wing , Front mazda lip t11 rims powder coated white and lowered tqo inches.
