car started skipping after 159 mph for 30 seconds. it skips only at idle then runs fine now i was racin a kid in a truck and started runnin like **** still boostin but not accelerating much. blown intake gasket or apex seal gone?

 

Let me guess, stock fuel system running high boost? Try posting some specifics on the car.

159 mph? It probably wasn't accelerating much because..... that's about as fast as they go. Was it skipping cuz you were over-revving?

 

750 primaries 1000 secs rtec 1.7 ecu t04b venom 255lph and no skipping only at idle but nowwhole time it skips

the rtek 1.7 is supposed to run 550 primarys and 720 secondaries correct??

 

I think it's supposed to run dual 720's..... but I'm pretty sure 160 is about tops. Unless you're puerto rican..... how do they do that? They know something.

It's called Puerto Rican Power Plus a lil influence from the bottle.....and I don't mean NOS Alot of the 9's are carb'd and even some 8's too. Would love to know what Eddie "Sporty" Colon has for his FD drag car. First 2-rotor in the 6's...Must be that GOYA and Adobo in the gas tank hahaha
