Are the single piston, 4 lug brake pads compatible with the 4 pot, 5 lug brakes?

Yeah...just wondering...

So I have a 5 lug conversion sitting around, and I'd like to get them installed, except for the fact that I have no wheels. I was thinking that I'd just let them sit and wait patiently for a nice deal on wheels to pop up, but my tires on my car are going out. And I just put on new brake pads on my car, too! So I don't really want to get new tires on my existing wheels, since it'd be nice if I could get some new wheels and get some nicer, fatter rubber underneith. But then those almost brand new brake pads'll go to waste...

As far as I know the rear pads are the same though, so at least you can re-use those.

If you are doing the swap, the spindles in the front ARE the same. I realized that while doing my 5-lug swap earlier this year. Different part #, but same exact part. Saves you from having to do a major alignment, or even dealing with tie rod ends, etc. Lots of people selling 5 lug parts don't seem to explain this (if they know it at all.)

I need to do a write up... grrr.

Sweet, thats good to know. What about the rears? I have DTSS eliminator bushings installed on the 5 lug spindles. Would I have to take them out and press them into my current spindles if I wanted to have them on? Could I?

Why not just swap the whole assembly?

The rears are an entire hub assembly... and the calipers do not fit on them, either. We tried that one.
