I found this pic somewhere. And I was wondering if there's really an advantage to
mount two blow off valves before and after the intercooler? If so, would it be useful
with the stock turbo? I was thinking of using the same setup just for safety measures.

What do you guys think?

This guy at my work has a supra that has 3 bov's

This has been gone over already.
Each position had it merits, and running both is a win-win situation, if you can afford to run two.

so basically running two makes use of both of the possible possitions for venting so that leads me to belive taht....there is no reason why not to have two besides financial reasons......

I dont see a need for your current mod list. Not even an FMIC? Seems like the only people with the surge problem have an FMIC. There isnt much space if any to even fit another BOV on the stock TMIC setup.

 

Yeah, I don't have very many mods. But I'm planning ahead. And of course a FMIC is
on the list. I just found the picture and was curious about the setup.

I personally think as close to the throttle body as you can get it... just for the sake of keeping the air moving in the same direction... only reason I can see for any position having an advantage over another.
