200 RWHP is NOT gonna happen without some serious porting.

200 rwhp is possible, but not easily attained. It might be possible on the stock port, but you would need a Haltech or such, and every other bolt on. The stock MAF sensor becomes an issue for n/a's over 200 bhp. The Haltech does away with the MAF sensor completely.

Nice mod list, but how do you pass emission? I live in AZ and everytime I modify anything I have to worry about emissions.

yea, emissions suck, we have them here too...they just decided to stop checking them, lol. But the shops aren't allowed to do illegal emissions stuff, I don't understand it, o well. Just do it yourself.

200 rwhp? Seems somewhat easy

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but from the way I see it, an n/a could hit 200 rwhp without too much work. With the Mazdatrix dual exhaust, an n/a gains something like 40 hp and then freeing the intake, upping fuel, getting an electric fan, undrive pulleys, no more air pump, and probably a new ecu. Seems like that should put someone close.

hmm stock 86-88 NA, 146 at the crank, give it 120 max at the wheel. 89-91 has 130 at the wheels the most, to get to 200rwhp, you need 70whp, that is almost 90-100bhp. Now even with the racing exhaust setup and intake, you are only going to gain 40-50bhp. That will only come out to like 150-170rwhp, still plenty short. Time for some NOS or turbo

why dont

Why cant someone just do it and dyno thier frigin car. I think its possible. *** long as you dont have emisions in mind. Remember with true duall you can always keep your old exahust and bolt it on when dyno testing comes, as well as air pump. Buy a new cat at set it aside. I passed with flying colors with my new cat. I was half the emisions I could of been. Hey dont forget what that md chip claims. That should be another 20hp with int and exahust. If you can manage to squeeze 230hp out, wouldnt that be juuuust about 200 at the wheels considering a 25 percent decr to wheels.

I am plannin on the headers to true dual all the way back, intake(with my own modicications),underdrive pulley, upgraded injectors & fuel pump & some sort of ecu upgrade or management system and plan on having 200 rwhp...o yea, forgot the NOS, hehe. I think I'll be over 200 at the wheels by quite a bit, hopefully.

You wont have 200 RWHP with that. You will probably have 210-215 bhp, which would be ~180 RWHP. The MAF sensor on the n/a's makes it very hard to get above 210 or so bhp without porting.

I will be getting my car dynoed soon atfter I get a job.
