since the n/a's run rich at wot, can I ...
everyone knows the n/a 7 runns rich at wot right?
WEll I found a "Sneaky Pete" NOS system thathas only like a 10 oz bottle or something. Nos made this for "that extra 110th of a second". It is operated from a 9 volt battery!
any way I was thinking that since these cars run rich at wot I could set this up to only work at wot. that way I could have a hidden advantage over those monster v8's. I know it is cheating but that is why NOS was used in the first place.
What do you guys think? I have already modded the mass air flow sensor to runn a little richer already. so I was thinking that I could run this and get away with it and not have to add extra injectors.
tell me yes!

running rich means having a high amount of fuel in your air/fuel.
lean is running with a high amount of air in air/fuel ratio.
Like on a 2 stroke lawnmower (all are 2 stroke i think). You mix too much oil it runs rich and makes thick *** smoke. Mix it too lean it'll run another way.

It's not cheating. It's a power booster that is legal. The Sneaky Pete is not a hi-flo bottle. Spend a little more and get a larger bottle. Sneaky Pete is only good for one run.

If you need to hide your NOS bottle, you probably shouldnt be unsing it at all.
BTW, Im pretty sure that is a dry system, which increases the fuel pressure by bleeding some NOS to the FPR, which raises the fuel pressure by a lot. This is far from the safest way to put NOS on a rotary. Just get a normal "wet" system if you want NOS, and then you wont have to fill it after every single time you use it.

I nessessarily want nos. I think I am going to need it for this particular race when it warms up. he claims to have 425 at the wheels. from the parts he told me he had I am thinking more like 350 at the fly. but still he has lots more power than I do. I was just thinking i could get that extra 10th of a second.

You should be alright with the sneaky pete, but don't take my word for law...you can find this system in Jeg's for about $200-225 if I remember correctly, but you really wll wish you spent more for a 10 or 20 pound bottle...what if he want best of 3 runs or some ****? Trust me, it may be safe, but that doesn't make it good...

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...
ALL petrol engines run rich at WOT, but NO engine runs rich enough to support nitrous, it'll be instant destuction if you try. You will need to add extra fuel. Dry systems work fine only if you've uprated your injectors to allow for the extra fuel they'll need to supply, otherwise you need a wet system.
Spend your money on a proper setup, it's way cheaper than a new motor.
