Simple Spark Plug Wire Question

What would be the negative consequences for repeatedly using standard spark plug wires to drive a street/track car to an AutoX/TT and, once arriving, switching to a racing spark plug wire like the Racing Beat?

Would the wire boots get worn prematurely from repeated switching? I'm trying to think of possible other bad side effects.

One set for driving to the track, one set of incredibly low resistance and potential RF interfering wires for the track.

I really don't think you are gonna see that big of a gain. I would just use Ngk blues.

I know you won't, probably .5 -1 hp at best......but in restricted class racing, every little bit counts when you want to win.

This isn't for a street car, or for a budget project.
