hey wat are the usual symptoms of a dripping injector, cause when i removed my emissions i had the injectors cleaned at RC and they said one was dripping but now it should be fine, but im having the same problems i did before... ie. excess fuel smell on start, puff of white fuel smelling smoke on start out of the exhaust, hard start sometimes after its warm and i let it sit for a little bit, like i have to hold down the gas pedal... wat do u guys think?

 

hmm yeah sounds like a leaky injector to me. the puff of white smoke could be a coolant seal thats going. excess fuel smell on start could be your Pulsation Dampner has failed

 

fuel smell comes from the exhaust and the smoke doesnt smell like coolant, i know for sure cause i've blown many coolant seals LOL

 

How's compression? Is the rest of the car in tune (plugs, wires, sensors, etc.)?

The white smoke is normal...just condensation.

 

as far as i know compression is fine cause after it starts it runs great, just starting it is a lil bit of a problem, the car is in tune... another question is that when its warming up on a cold start, after a little bit it has a really weird idle, it jumps about 1k width back and forth, then when its warm it idles alot better. i gotta check the tps though.

 

So the car is not in tune then....

It's going to be a vacuum leak or TPS problem.

The fuel issue will be something else.
