Back In The Rotary Game: This Time It's an FC!

Thrilled to be the owner of an RX-7 again, this time in the more reliable S5 format. Here she is below (purchased off a friend who is another RX-7club member). Car's body is mint. Like mint mint....no rust or floor/frame rot anywhere.

Here's a pic of the car as delievered (sans rims):

One question i have for you guys is what bumper can i replace the 300zx bumper he had moulded on? It needs to extend far enough under the fender (unlike the stock FC bumper which is sorta just a stubby front). Would prefer something more stock looking...RX-7 ish.

thanks. the car will be used in circuit racing in CASC (sorta like the SCCA but in canada).

which means the black interior will be available for part out..aslong with the window glass, various accessory pumps, aircon, etc etc to anyone who wants em.

but i have to find a front bumper....i really......really......REALLY dislike that 300zx front lol

I would recommend just buying new fenders and a front bumper. Otherwise, you are looking at molding a new bumper to fit, and if you end up not liking it, tough luck.

Yea you should look into gettin the re amemiya fc2000 front end. On this specific car it would look insane after some nice bodywork and molding. A guy my dad new years ago put a 300zx front onto a widebody first gen Rx-7 and this car reminded me of that. Very nice FC and congrats on the purchase/find.

the FC200 front end ...the whole kit in general really is a masterpiece and one day i might do it..but not right now though as the car will probably have front bumper's bashed up quite a bit and i really do like the popups.

thanks for the input, i appreciate it.

i think i will be using a set of stock fenders (i also bought a parts car) and graft the corksport overfenders for that FC2000 panspeed fender look...then will use the OEM bumper with mazdaspeed lip for now.
