Question Side seals

Im just wondering how do you tell if your engine needs side seals I did a compression test and there was 1 smaller one then it went up to 85 and then stayed at 85. the book says if theres 1 small followed by 2 large movements on the compression testor its bad side seals but it was one small and the rest large does this mean anything or am I just overly worried

You have to observe the pattern for several turns.
The first turn doesn’t count..
