Rotory's generally run very clean inside as there is no where really for oild to sit and gunge up like in the heads of a piston engine. I wouldn't use it for the fear of damaging internal oil seals, may be ok might not be do you want to take the chance? Like i Said every rotory i have taken apart has been almost spotless oil passage way wise as long as it hasn been overheated and baked in which case you have bigger problems then internal oil gunge..

Yea rotaries don't get nearly as gunked up as piston counterparts. I think the best idea is if your oil seems really dirty, buy a cheap assed fram oil filter and a bottle castrol GTX. Change the oil and add the new stuff with the new filter. Drive it for about 50km's and then change the oil again, this time with a high quality filter and the same oil. Should be a nice dull brown.

I wouldnt suggest atf fluid in the combustion chamber areas as to remove carbon, there has been many a debate on how atf fluid can deteriote the vital oil control seals in the rotory, i would stay away from that stuff and the stp.. In the past stp has been know to create a very hard substance once burned reaking havoc with internal combustion parts and seals, as a rotory is pretty well a twostroke when it comes to burning oil to keep internal combustions seals lubed.

Seafoam is also a favorite over on the Subaru forums for cleaning out the oil passages & such on older Subaru motors. Put it in, run the engine for a while, drain the oil.

No need for flush, no need to waste oil and burden our environment by changing it after 50 miles. If you are truly concerned about "cleaning" the parts lubricated with oil then your best bet is to use autorx found on www.auto-rx.com It is the safest and most effective gentle engine cleaner. Personally, it is a great product for pistons but not needed for rotaries.
