Question should i sell it?

im debating if i should sell the 7 i have now with the mods in my sig, and buy a cheaper stock GTU and drop a 20B in it, b/c im sure i could get $6,000 out of my current 7, and the 20B is $4000 so do you think i should sell it, or not?

Why not keep your current car, save up for a while, and drop the 20b into it?

If your leaving for Hong Kong next year then I would say why bother with the 20b swap....if your only gonna be able to drive it till next year then I would just leave your car the way it is or spend a bit more cash on it. Are you going to be in HK long? You could always do the swap when you get back, if your coming back that is and not moving there or whatnot.....I dunno, do whatever you feel you want to do I guess.

I hope you have a real nice S5 TII if you think you can get $6000 out of it. Anyways, the 20B swap is more than $4000, more like $10,000 minimum doing the work yourself.

whatzup Keegun. Don't u dare... Keep your FC and be happy with it. If you are looking for power, you should have give me your FC and get you a S-chassis like me, and do a KAT or SR. Or find another T2. I am serious, 20B swap just won't fit into your current budget plan right now. The 20B swap is kinda like dropping in a RB26 into my S14 right now. Way out of my limit(money and wrenching).

and yes, you made a good point, I better start saving money for our trip.

later.

I thought the 20b swap cost more than 10k easily, and if you wanted to get it ported or more ive heard stories of it running up to 25 000

porting is like 300 bucks. The engine isn't that much it's custom making everything and having it put in. Plus tuning.
