Question should i drive with a blown turbo

i have an 87 turbo with i think bad vaccum lines but i cant tell. when the turbo was working and i floored it, the boost hesitates after about 3800 rpm. but the other day i was driving it and all of a sudden the car started to redline without me even pushing the gas.i had to turn off the car for it to stop. this happen 2 times then i brought it home. when i took it around the block i didnt feel my car boost and my stock boost gauuge was showing no postive pressure. i also have a cheap aftermarket boost gauge in and it showed no pressure too. i just bought the car not to long ago and im new to the rx-7 so i dont know if i should be driving it...

-any suggestions or thoughts will be very helpful thanx...

Search this 2Gen forum for 3800rpm hesitation.

Probably a stuck throttle cable. Clean it off and lubricate it. If it looks frayed or otherwise bad, then replace it.

You should have a mechanic look at it. I wouldn't drive it.

That happened to me when I still had my Del Sol. it was bouncing off of 8/9,000 RPM, **** was so scary. I had no idea what to do for a second so it was like that for 4 seconds or so.

anyhoo, don't drive your car, make sure you get it to a mechanic before you put the key in the car again.
